Travelers find themselves washed up in bars and at bus stops, ruminating on their lives with strangers. Magical shops offer solace to confused customers, while unnervingly-lifelike statues wreak havoc with local estate agents.
Written between 2019 and 2021, the Major Arcana series is 22 short stories, each inspired by the major arcana of the tarot deck. Originally conceived as a way to learn more about the tarot, the series evolved into a patchwork of stories about love, death, hauntings and a magical antiques shop. Not usually in the same story.
