Welcome to my stationery and accessories page! Whether you’ve found me on Folksy, Etsy, the Alt Fashion Directory or good old Google, here’s the place to browse the Francesca’s Words stationery range. I’ve come up with several since 2013, mostly inspired by my studies and from reading (and shouting at) the news.

If you have any queries about wholesale orders, please don’t hesitate to email me at francescaswords [at] outlook [dot] com.

How it all started

As a reluctant student, I felt that the best part of the school year was the bit when notebooks were new, fresh and still held the scent of optimism. Well, the best part of the school year was the last day of summer term, but the stationery helped.

Most supermarket stationery, however, was lacking: neither funny, rude nor well-made enough to hold the attention, most pieces were overpriced and mass-manufactured. Those that weren’t were too fancy to take to school. I had the same issues with greetings cards: most were saccharine, badly illustrated or impersonal, or all three.

Adhering to the age-old saying ‘if you want a job doing, make your own bloody stationery’, I began playing around with print and card ideas in 2012. NOW WE’RE HERE.
